STRATEGY FOR PASSENGERS

LIEGE AIRPORT has a catchment area of 4 million people within a radius of 50 km.

Charter business has been successfully developed since 1994 (more than 20 destinations in 2008), in particular due to the presence of the two leading Belgian tour operators (Thomas Cook and Jetair).
The intention is to pursue the development of charter flights and to attract low fare companies with the aim of doubling the amount of business by 2010.

LIEGE AIRPORT has had a new passenger terminal since April 2005, with a capacity of one million passengers per year. The terminal was designed to meet the needs of the companies targeted.
