On Monday, October 6, 2025, the general meeting of Liege Airport appointed new board members for the next five years. On that occasion, Mr. Fabian Marcq, who has long been involved in the region’s economic development, was appointed Chairman of the airport’s Board of Directors.

For more than 25 years, he has served as Deputy Managing Director and later COO of the Meusinvest Group, now known as Noshaq, where he played a key role in the financing, development, and restructuring of numerous industrial companies, particularly in logistics and airport services.

With a degree in Economics from the University of Liège (finance, econometrics, economic policy) and a degree in Business and Financial Sciences (analysis and control) from HEC Liège, Fabian Marcq has an in-depth understanding of the regional socio-economic landscape and extensive experience in the airport sector. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Liege Airport for 23 years and served as Vice-Chairman from 2014 to 2018. Fabian Marcq has also served as a director of Sowaer and, in that capacity, participated in investment projects at Walloon airports.

Several new directors are joining the airport’s management body, namely Ms. Elisabeth Guillaume, Ms. Christine Collignon, Mr. Benoît Pitance, Mr. Nicolas Dumazy, and Ms. Stéphanie Fellen.
